F5 ASM Operations Guide complete

The Book Sprint to write an operations guide for the F5 BIG-IP Application Security Manager (ASM) in the F5 office in Tel Aviv is now complete.

16 engineers came up with a new approach that goes beyond documentation to make the ASM accessible to their customers. Through a set of common deployment examples the guide explains the recommended choices to take – and the rationale behind these choices – for the deployment, configuration, tuning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of their security policies.

In five days, the participants mapped out the content, defined and refined the approach, and wrote and reviewed the comprehensive book. The guide is now going through an internal revision process and will published shortly.
