How could the governance of sustainable investment look like?

Three days ago, a new Book Sprint started surrounded by woods and farmland in the Waterfront of the Thomphson and Crox Creeks of Kent Island, in Maryland.

On the initiative of the Columbia Center on Sustainable Investment, a group of lawyers and economists coming from the academia and policy sector and, representing almost all regions of the world is working to propose a vision for the governance of sustainable international investment in the 21st Century.

How can international investment contribute to global sustainable development? Which principles could be implemented to address challenges such as social and political inequality or the anthropogenic climate change? These are some of the questions that participants will try to provide this week.

The book aims at targeting policy-makers, opinion-leaders, civil society, journalists, students and economic actors.
