This OER textbook has been designed for students to learn the foundational concepts for English 100 (first-year college composition). The content aligns to learning outcomes across all campuses in the University of Hawai’i system.

The books are now available on the UH Pressbooks site, to be viewed, used and downloaded under the terms of the CC BY license attached to it.  Both Sprints were part of our initiative Sprint Lab, where we experiment applying the Book Sprints method to different formats, in this case, OER textbook sprints. We discuss this method and our experience at the University of Hawai’i in more detail here in a post about the Microeconomics book.
