Second f5 Book Sprint in Seattle

F5’s second Book Sprint from a series of four started this Monday in Seattle to write an operations guide for their Access Policy Manager (APM). Twelve engineers, technical training developers, technical writers and client consultants are working together to finish the book by Friday.

The first half of Monday was spent discussing the scope of the operations guide which will focus on post-implementation management and basic troubleshooting of the APM. After brainstorming and structuring dozens of sticky notes a structure for the book presented itself. The group then started to go into more details for the different sections that they would be working on for the rest of the week.

By Wednesday, most of the content has been covered, 30,000 words have been written, and the first round of revisions has begun.
