Book Sprints for ICT Research Project

After almost a year in negotiations with the European Commission and many bumps and hurdles overcome I am proud to announce the EC supported project to research Book Sprints in the context of scientific paper production is now live!

The project is brought together by FLOSS Manuals and the primary objective is to test Book Sprints “in the composition of scientific papers and books in the field of ICT research and innovation.”

There is a very talented team behind it, the full team being:

Tania Goryucheva – Project Co-ordinator
Adam Hyde – Book Sprint Facilitator
Donna Metzlar – Project Associate
Rachel Baker – Associate Researcher
Jo Paulger – Software Developer
Sandra Sarala – Editor
Henrik van Leeuwen – Designer

Much thanks must go to the FLOSS Manuals board for bringing this project to fruition.
