Book Sprints for ICT Research update

7in 2012 the European Commission supported a research project to investigate the application of Book Sprints in the field of ICT academic research. The first sprint in this series was held in the beautiful village of Mata Pequena in Portugal in collaboration with UrbanIxD.

The article was completed in 3 days and has been sent to the printers (pictured left) to be printed and bound in time for the first EC review in Brussels in a few weeks.

Continuing on with the experiment there will be a second Book Sprint research event to be held in Malta in collaboration with FoCAS. The third and fourth research events are currently being confirmed but look likely to be in March and April of 2014. All events are facilitated by Adam Hyde.
